Your existing bedroom can be inexpensively transformed by fitting a new headboard to an existing bed base. All "beds" sold by the major manufacturers are in fact bed bases. Fitting a new headboard to a bed base is simplicity itself. Just check that there are fixing screws at the head of the bed. If it has a headboard already, it will have; if it does not, it is worth checking at this stage. We make a large number of different widths to ensure that the one you select looks absolutely right with beds made by all manufacturers in either imperial (ft/ins) or metric (cms) sizes. Our headboards are solid wood with panelled interior or a caned interior (the original reason why we are called Cotswold Caners), or have wooden uprights or are upholstered. Caned headboards may be natural or stained, according to your taste.
