David Phipp House Furnisher is situated 6 miles north of Bournemouth in Ferndown, Dorset where it has been trading for 40 years as one of the souths leading independent furniture retailers. It is still proudly owned as a family business by David and Anne Phipp. Their daughters Susie & Sarah, together with their husbands Tom Stansmore & Nick Ward who are now directly involved with the running of the business.

David started with a modest shop in Parley Cross in 1972 moving to Glenmoor road in Ferndown in 1980. In 1992 David purchased the Welcome Lodge Hotel on Ringwood Road, Ferndown and this was transformed into the showrooms as you see them today. 

Over the 40 years the showroom has grown into one of the most prestigious in the south. Offering traditional, contemporary and bedroom furniture including household names such as Ercol, G-Plan, Parker Knoll, Stressless, Hartmann, Tempur, Somnus, Dunlopillo and our latest addition to the bedding department the new Vi-Spring bed studio. We also have an in-store curtain department and an excellent balcony cafe offering freshly made light lunches and speciality coffees. A successful addition to our service has been the courtesy car, offering disabled or elderly customers the chance to visit the showrooms.
